• Review and implement the Development Communications strategy as articulated in the Project Implementation Manual (PIM) and as guided by the SPIU Coordinator. • Developing communication messages for the various target groups. • Formulate; Implement; Monitor and evaluate communication activities. • Supervise and guide the production of communication materials (including translation; where necessary). • Prepare advertisement materials and messages for publication both in the electronic and print media. • Edit materials and proceedings prepared by the SPIU and those submitted by the SPIU. • Coordinate and implement training, mobilization and sensitization of the participating communities, stakeholders on project activities and expected roles at all levels. • Creating awareness for the implementation of RAMP. • He will be responsible for the monitoring and evaluation component of the project and generation of project specific information on progress, processes and performance. • Analyses and aggregation of data generated at various levels to track progress, process quality and project sustainability. • He will also document and disseminate feedback and key lessons learnt to relevant users and stakeholders as well as compile monthly, quarterly and annual reports. • Monitor progress towards attainment of targets and to adapt targets to realities. • Provide an improved foundation for planning, effective resources use. • Provide record of events. • Identify unacceptable high cost interventions and operations and provide information base for future evaluations. • Maintain quality standards. • Carry out other tasks as assigned by the SPIU Coordinator.
