About Me
An attorney with more than two decades of experience, Phil Pettis laid the foundation for his career in the field of law by first studying political science at Bates College. As a student, Phil Pettis achieved the title of co-captain of the football team. He also received an A on his senior thesis, which presented a case study of the Pease Development Authority. After earning his bachelor's degree, he enrolled in the University of New Hampshire School of Law, where he earned a juris doctor in 1998.

In 2002, Mr. Pettis joined the Boynton Waldron Law Firm in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and, today, he holds the title of partner at the firm. In this role, he offers litigation and trial work in the practice areas of employment law and business law. Among his noteworthy cases, Mr. Pettis successfully argued the 2017 case Becksted v. Nadeau, 155 N.H. 615 before the New Hampshire Supreme Court.

Mr. Pettis has maintained memberships to multiple professional organizations. He is currently a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association IOLTA Grants Committee.
