A veteran cardiologist, Peter Gregor, MD, brings nearly four decades of experience to his work with patients at Owensboro Health Medical Group in Owensboro, Kentucky. In his work at the clinic, Peter Gregor, MD, conducts inpatient consultations with a wide range of patients, especially those with adult congenital heart disease. His interest in this condition prompted him to cofound Kentucky Grown Up Heart Disease, an association of adult congenital heart disease doctors.
Peter Gregor, MD, received his bachelor’s degree in biology at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, before going on to earn his MD at the school. He undertook postgraduate medical training at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, where he completed residencies in internal and family medicine and a fellowship in cardiology.
Prior to joining the Owensboro Health Medical Group, Peter Gregor, MD, held positions as a cardiologist with a number of medical organizations around the United States, including Golden Clinic in Elkins, West Virginia, and a county hospital in California associated with Stanford University. Dr. Gregor also maintained his own private practice for several years and served as appointed faculty with Marshall University and the West Virginia School of Osteopathy.
