An accomplished business development and project management professional with more than 30 years of experience in the video game industry, Paul Trowe currently serves as the Entertainment Editor of VR Today Magazine as well as an angel investor in crypto currency. He previously worked as the CEO of Replay Games, a company he founded in 2008. At Replay, Paul Trowe managed multi-million dollar budgets and facilitated partnerships with corporate sponsors and C-level executives to support the commercialization of the company's video games. Replay’s 2013 hit game, Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded, sold more than five million units across all current video game platforms in over 10 languages.
Prior to establishing Replay Games, Mr. Trowe served as the founder and CEO of award-winning media company Pulse Interactive where Quake Mobile won Best Mobile Game at E3 in 2005. He also held executive roles with Greenleaf Technologies Corporation, Gremlin Interactive, Atari, Activision, and Sierra On-Line.
Mr. Trowe started in the video game industry as a beta tester with Sierra On-Line when he was in junior high school. He later earned a bachelor's degree in International Relations from Florida State University with a minor in Economics. In addition to his current work at VR Today Magazine, he has held advisory board positions at SXSW Gaming, ITT Technical Institute, The Video Game Development Institute, Game Camp, and the Texas Independent Games Conference.
Mr Trowe has spoken, literally, all over the world at events such as Quo Vadis, E3, Game Developer's Conference, Respawn, Mobile World Congress, Games Beat, Austin Game Conference, the Pocket PC Summit, and the Korean IT & Gaming Expo which he executive produced to ensure Korean games were able to license their IP to Western Markets.
