Paul Prager

An executive in the energy sector for more than three decades, Paul Prager began his career as a graduate of the United States Naval Academy. He spent five years in active duty before transitioning into the private sector as founder and managing director of Davco Oil. In this capacity, Paul Prager guided the company's trading of crude product and crude oil resources and derivatives.

Paul Prager went on to assume ownership of natural gas distribution and trading group Direct Gas in 1987. He led the company through its successful sale to British Petroleum North America and now serves as chair and CEO of Beowulf Energy, which identifies and pursues investments in energy facility development on the domestic and international scale.

Working with a diverse partnership network of leading funding and natural resource distribution entities, Paul Prager seeks out opportunities in power generation, industrial development, and oil and gas midstream and refinery projects. He leads an in-house team that oversees engineering, operations and maintenance, and asset management so as to maximize the efficiency of capital use and drive value for investors.
