The recipient of an MBA from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, Paul Generale balances a busy career as a health care executive with a commitment to his family and community. While living in Santa Fe, New Mexico, he served on the boards of Rio Grande School and the Santa Fe Children’s Museum. Now a resident of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Paul Generale continues this commitment by volunteering with nonprofit groups in the area.
Professionally, Paul Generale has spent more than two decades as a health care administrator with CHRISTUS Health. As the executive vice president and chief strategy and network officer for the Dallas County-based health care network, Mr. Generale oversees acquisitions and leads strategy across hundreds of hospitals, clinics, and other health care services throughout Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, and Latin America. CHRISTUS Health stands as one of the 10 largest Catholic health care providers in the United States, with more than $6 billion in assets and 45,000 associates.
Paul Generale previously served as the regional chief financial officer for CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe, where he led financial operations for a hospital with about $450 million in annual revenue. A Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, he also maintains active membership with the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
