Innovation and entrepreneurship notions are deeply rooted in my way of working. This is why I naturally develop a leadership role in professional or personal projects I am involved in. I am particularly driven by the stimulating nature of projects, having to imagine innovative solutions and thinking outside the box.
I have a great interest in Product / Industrial Designing and Engineering, a combo that suits me perfectly.
SolarDrops is an humanitarian project that meets differents actors around one aim: help the science development to help people that really need it to survive.
Our product is a sea water distiller using simple materials to provide drinkable water with the energy of the sun. Many solutions already exist but are not optimized. Our is 2-3 more efficient thanks to an innovative system that we patented.
For the project to be viable, we also have to design a solution taking into account local resources and easily accessible by users. This is the concept of frugality, that is omnipresent in our project.
More than a product, SolarDrops wants to bring the skill we create where the people need it
But why is this project so important? Because it concerns a primary need: access to water, the source of life. In responding to the primary needs thus allows a population to grow and evolve.
