I work as an EN>FR in-house translator for Societe Generale Bank in Paris, specialising in foreign exchange and bond markets.
Having gained strong financial expertise over the last twelve years, I am now able to meet very tight deadlines - most documents are to be returned within the next hour - and deal with extremely large volumes - 10000 words every Thursday. I translate at a rate of 1000 words/hour using no CAT tools.
In parallel to my full-time job, I have worked as a freelance translator in various fields - pharmaceuticals, IT, aeronautics, political science - and done some English voice-over for a group of cardiologists.
I have a master's degree in translation and can work both from English into French and French into English, having dual nationality.
I'm open to job offers in my fields of expertise - whether translation or finance - and would like to join an international organisation or a larger bank.
