As the managing partner of UTC Reference Laboratories, LLC, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Patrick Ridgeway draws on more than 20 years of industry experience. He began his career at Specialty Surgical Instrumentation, Inc., having recently earned his bachelor's degree in business from the University of Mississippi. Honored as Rookie of the Year in 1993, when he received the company's Reach Award for top sales growth, Patrick Ridgeway went on to earn top production honors the following year as well.
Patrick Ridgeway left Specialty Surgical Instrumentation in 1996 to accept a territory manager's position with Boston Scientific Corporation in its cardiovascular division. Honored as the regional sales rep of the year in 1997, he went on to earn two President's Club awards for his work in selling angioplasty balloons, coronary stents, and other products to interventional cardiologists.
Patrick Ridgeway continued to earn President's Club honors in positions later held at Medtronic, Inc., and St. Jude Medical, Inc., the latter of which he served as a regional director. Subsequently named a regional manager at Endologix, Inc., his region achieved the highest growth in 2011. He transitioned into his current position in 2013 and has since led the development of more than $500 million in molecular-testing-and-reporting technology.
