Since 1989, Patrick Dibre has led a career as an automotive sales consultant and executive with experience guiding both used car wholesaling operations and new car dealerships. A prominent figure in the field, he belongs to multiple industry groups and serves on Dealer Councils for manufacturers he represents. As a Dealer Council member, Patrick Dibre assists both dealers and manufacturers as they work to define best practices for the industry.

Patrick Dibre also guides PSD Automotive Group, an automotive sales holding company in Bridgewater, New Jersey. Under his direction, PSD owns and operates numerous award-winning dealerships across multiple states. Since buying into his first dealership in 2001, Mr. Dibre has acquired award-winning dealerships under the Nissan, Volvo, Toyota, and Honda brands.

Initially starting as a New Jersey-based company with dealerships in the Northeast, PSD has expanded into the California and Southeast markets with purchases of dealerships in California, Virginia, and Florida. Patrick Dibre has replicated his early success in each state, with PSD Automotive Group’s Nissan of Duarte location in California earning top marks in the state for sales efficiency. Additionally, the company’s Nissan of Chesapeake and Nissan of Richmond dealerships have earned the top two spots in the rankings of Nissan dealerships in Virginia.

  • A prominent figure in the automotive sales industry, Patrick Dibre began his career in 1989 as co-founder of a used car wholesale operation in Paterson, New Jersey. After building the company into one of the leading wholesalers in the state, Patrick Dibre shifted into new car sales, purchasing half of a Nissan, Kia, and Chrysler auto dealership in New York in 2001. Under his direction, the dealership improved from losing more than $1.5 million per year to generating over $70 million in annual revenue.
  • Since that time, Patrick Dibre has grown his business to include more than 20 auto dealerships across the United States. He manages these dealerships through PSD Automotive Group, a holding company in Bridgewater, New Jersey. PSD’s portfolio includes dealerships under the Nissan, Volkswagen, Volvo, and other manufacturing brands.
  • Under Patrick Dibre’s leadership, PSD Automotive dealerships have accrued numerous honors and awards for customer service and sales. The Nissan of Garden City location has led the nation in total sales volume for seven years, and PSD owns and operates the top two Nissan dealerships in Virginia. Additionally, the Volkswagen of Huntington dealership has won the manufacturer’s Wolfsburg Crest Club Award and Customer First Club Award for three years running, the only Volkswagen location in the United States to have accomplished the feat.
