Parahat Akyshov is a trained electrical engineer and project manager, who serves as a coordinator for Act on Electric in Lynnwood, WA. His work with this small electric company places him in charge of multiple departmental managers to direct activities in areas that range from materials supply to safety leadership. Before relocating to WA in 2015, Parahat Akyshov served a year as an electrical department manager with Chyzgy General Contractors in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, and two years as an electrician lead with Essential Electric in Long Island, New York. He also worked as an electrician with New City Electric in Queens, New York, for three years and completed electrician training through Staten Island’s Ozgan Electric Company.
Mr. Akyshov remains up to date with the latest advancements in his field by regularly attending industry seminars and exhibitions. His areas of professional interest include sustainable and renewable energy options and the development of new techniques for the production of batteries.
