At just four years old, he took up guitar and has become proficient in multiple instruments, including acoustic Eric bass guitars and drums. He is also an accomplished vocalist.
During his formative years, Oliver was part of the prestigious Sydney Region Band—now known as the Sydney Southeast Symphonic Winds ensemble. This group, comprising over a hundred of the region's most talented young musicians, performed at notable venues like the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Town Hall, offering him early exposure to high-profile performance environments.
