I am an outgoing and creative team player with a passion for economic and strategic analysis.
I have various organisational experience as the head controller in the Student Society, leader of the External Affairs Committee at NHH and as a national board member of the Norwegian Officers Association's student Board. Previously held various positions in the conservative party, regionally.
I am looking for new experiences to develop on the professional, academic and personal level. Strong interest in economic and strategic analysis. I enjoy working in teams and would describe myself as a process oriented person who puts value in good planning.
Worked on Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) field as part of the Fund Intelligence Team of Skagen. Together with my co-intern we worked on systemising Skagens ESG work forward. This involved broad strategic and conceptual thinking, which we narrowed down into concrete deliverables - producing actual changes to how Skagen applies its ESG policy.
Preparing, attending and reporting from formal and informal meetings/negotiations in the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), on behalf of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In addition, I did some trade-related representation in the UN (UNCTAD) and took part in managing the delegations social media profiles.
Worked primarily with the 2019 planning and budgeting process. Among others, this entailed gathering and systemizing data, building an Excel model for costs associated with climate gas emissions and ad-hoc work where needed within the controller's organisation. Also, I spent a couple of weeks auditing the Business Services Center in Budapest.
Worked primarily as a squad leader (8 soldiers), but was also exposed leading on the platoon level (40 soldiers) at the Madla boot-camp and in the home guard. I was also responsible for the revision of the training manual on the Brigade level (6000 soldiers).
As the first and only ski-instructor in the first year of business, I contributed to establishing a now well-known ski-school at the Fidjeland ski-resort.
