Since 2016, Norwood Teague has consistently planned three annual events for Business North Carolina magazine as the organization's event director. Norwood Teague has even significantly increased sponsorship sales for the company's mfgCON, an annual two-day conference with more than 50 speakers and presenters. He handles similar duties for the organization's NC CEO Summit and Business North Carolina's Legal Elite events by overseeing the marketing for each event, handling the logistics, and securing new sponsors.
Prior to coming to North Carolina, Norwood Teague held administrative positions in the athletics department of higher education institutions, including the University of Virginia, the University of Minnesota, and Virginia Commonwealth University. During his time in higher education, he was able to bring in Olympic gold medalist Tiffany Roberts to head Virginia Commonwealth's women's soccer program.
During his free time, Mr. Teague likes to jog, fish, golf, and enjoy the great outdoors. He also reads extensively on military history, especially World War II.
