Management of projects, on time, within budget and in a professional manner and direct people management of the project team. • Control, direct and co-ordinate teams of Engineers and Sub-Contractors work whilst on site. • Responsible for the implementation of procedures for the execution of work, briefing instructions to the staff in a timely fashion and ensuring that best practice is exercised. • Planning and scheduling of manpower and equipment requirements for programmed jobs, guaranteeing that the jobs are completed within the specified time frame and budget allocated. • Conduct regular safety and quality audits and monitor Health & Safety of allocated Engineers and Sub-Contractors to ensure that the employees are working safely by using the correct equipment in the correct manner in compliance with all legislation. • Manage work in hand to maximise productivity of the team, accuracy of forecasts, and jobs completed in a timely manner. • Management of CDM regulations, method statements, risk assessments, COSHH regulations and toolbox talks on all projects being carried out. • Monitor and control allocated budgets and prepare reports and programmes as required by the Contracts Manager.
