I finished my basic physiotherapy education in July 2010 at the ESP (European School of Physiotherapy) in Amsterdam with the degree Bachelor of Health. In September 2010 I started working in a private practice in Zaandam, the SMC (Sports Medisch Centrum). There I learned a lot about exercise therapy and working with sports people as one of my tasks was taking care of "KZ-Hiltex" (dutch and european champion of Korfbal). Furthermore I raised my administration skills to a higher level, as the SMC is a "HCA Pluspraktijk". In December 2013 I stopped working at the SMC and found a new challenge at the Paramedisch Centrum Beverwijk (PMC). In this practice my work had a bigger focus on manual therapy and less on sports, which was matching to my master studies. In January 2012 I started my masters education in Enschede at the Saxion University. The course is called Muskuluskeletaal and is a combination of manual therapy and sports physiotherapy. I completed this master program with a master of science in the field of manual therapy in April 2016. I am motivated to learn and develop myself to be a better therapist every day. I can work well in a team as well as independently. In December 2015 me and my fiancé made the choice to continue our future live in Hamburg Germany and I stopped working for PMC Beverwijk. After half a years travel (the way from Amsterdam to Hamburg was longer than we thought ;-) ) I started my own practice in Hamburg in July 2016. I also joined the team of "Bewegte Mittagspause" at that opportunity.
Private practice with 35 years of experience. Settled in 4 locations of which one a sports center and one elderly home (so really for every patient category).
