He has guided the California-based firm and its three offices since 2013 and accrued a list of more than 2,500 active clients. Concentrating in portfolio analysis, legacy planning, and secured investments, Nick Yekani offers assistance through his trademarked Financial X-Ray process, which emphasizes a client's lifestyle and needs in the creation of a unique investment plan
Before he launched Economics & Family, Nick Yekani practiced as a financial advisor with MetLife and New England Financial for a combined 29 years, during which time he earned multiple Triskelion Awards and New England Financial Awards for Excellence. He also received entry into the MetLife Hall of Fame. In addition to advising clients, he interviewed prospective staff members and conducted training sessions for new employees.
For the past 19 years, Yekani has hosted a pair of financial-advice radio programs, one of which is in collaboration with Nobel Prize winner Dr. Robert Shiller. He also presented a financial forum with Dr. Shiller in 2017.
