Nick Bratsafolis, the owner of the real estate and mortgage banking consultancy Pyramid Advisors, LLC, received a BA in political science and education from Montclair State University and a juris doctor degree from Seton Hall University. After beginning his career as a high school social studies teacher, he went on to practice law for several years with the New York City firms Poles, Tublin, Patestides & Stratakis and Weil Gotshal & Manges. Nick Bratsafolis concentrated on real estate, maritime, and financial transactional law, including the negotiation and execution of leveraged buyouts and multi-state real estate deals.

In his subsequent position as president and general counsel of American Realty Holdings Corporation and its property management subsidiary, Nick Bratsafolis directed financing, acquisition, sales, and all legal matters for a real estate portfolio comprising nearly 2 million square feet of office space. He then assumed the position of chairman and CEO of Homebridge Mortgage Bankers, where he grew the company’s mortgage origination business from $30 million a year to $1.4 billion. Mr. Bratsafolis advised staff members working for members of the US House of Representatives with regard to refinancing mechanisms, like Hope for Homeowners, to help those facing foreclosure keep their homes.

With Pyramid Advisors, Nick Bratsafolis contributes to the development of Refinance.com and assists national mortgage companies and real estate enterprises with devising strategies for driving sales and expanding their business-to-business clientele.
