A clinical pharmacist, Nechama Rothberger is licensed through the New York State Board of Pharmacy and certified as a pharmacotherapy specialist through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties. She also holds active basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support certification through the American Heart Association. Nechama Rothberger gained emergency pharmacy experience while completing a comprehensive PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency through the Maimonides Medical Center emergency department in Brooklyn.
After completing her residency in July of 2016, Nechama Rothberger remained with the Maimonides emergency department as a clinical pharmacist. In addition to providing appropriate oral and intravenous medications in response to incoming medical emergencies, Nechama Rothberger develops protocols, facilitates nursing education, and precepts pharmacy residents. A member of the Maimonides Pharmacy and Therapeutics Residency Committee, she also serves as an ED research pharmacy team member. Her proficiencies include the use of Allscripts Sunrise Clinical Manager and HealthMatics Emergency Department software.
