An air medical communications specialist at Penn Medicine, Nathan Rotenberg brings diverse experience of well over a decade to his career in emergency communications. Early in his work history, Nathan Rotenberg served as a hazardous materials technician at Aerotek Environmental & Engineering working in PA, NY & NJ. In 2005, he oversaw locomotive maintenance and track repair at the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad in Bucks County, PA. He went on to hold the title of security/emergency response officer for U.S. Security Associates assigned to Rohm and Haas, and provided communications, public relations, and support related to insurance claims and investigations at the Insurance Adjustment Bureau. He joined Penn Medicine, where he gained experience working in a fast-paced emergency call center, in 2007.
To better perform his duties, Nathan Rotenberg has completed training as a specialist in many areas of emergency response. Among his many qualifications, Mr. Rotenberg is an advanced emergency dispatcher certified by the National Academy of Emergency Dispatch, and a public safety telecommunicator I through the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials as well as a Pennsylvania Search and Rescue Council Field Team Member.
