Licensed to work as an elementary school principal or vice principal in the state of Massachusetts, Naomi Tetherly has experience as a special education director and an English and Social Studies teacher with Robert M. Hughes Academy Charter Public School in Springfield, Massachusetts. She also worked as a substitute teacher with Springfield Public Schools.
Before embarking on her career in the education sector, Ms. Tetherly worked as a disability claims examiner with Hartford Life Insurance Company. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Columbia University and a master’s degree in school administration from American International College.
Away from work, Ms. Tetherly is an avid runner and a member of the Empire One Running Club in Holyoke, Massachusetts. She is also passionate about travel and has visited India, England, Scotland, Japan, Mexico, Portugal, Germany, the Dominican Republic, the Virgin Islands, and places throughout the continental United States.
