With over 45 years of business leadership experience, Morton Landowne serves as executive director of Nextbook, Inc., in New York City. The company publishes books on Jewish subjects through Nextbook Press, as well as a variety of articles and podcasts through Tablet Magazine, a website that has received three National Magazine Awards. A writer himself, Morton Landowne has written 20 articles for Tablet Magazine and has had his work published in books and the New York Times. In 2017, he delivered a presentation at the Conference for Overseas Journalists, which was hosted in Israel by President Benjamin Netanyahu.

Alongside his professional activities, Morton Landowne takes a very active role in the Jewish community. He serves as vice president of the American Friends of Ohr Torah Stone and is a board member of the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York. Mr. Landowne has also held leadership positions with Edah, the Lincoln Square Synagogue, and the American Friends of Beit Issie Shapiro.

In his free time, Mr. Landowne enjoys exploring art museums and attending plays and musicals. His other favorite activities include reading, traveling, and cheering on local sports teams, including the New York Giants and the New York Yankees.
