I am a creative, passionate, dedicated journalism/public relations major at Baylor University. I strive for justice, strong communication, and turning passions into change. I'm currently a staff writer at The Baylor Lariat, an award-winning student newspaper, and was previously a marketing intern for Globe Business Media Group in London, England. After graduation from Baylor, I plan to attend law school in pursuit of civil law.
Globe BMG is a company that provides legal databases, intellectual property news, and creates events for IP and legal professionals. This internship allowed me to use Google Analytics, Excel, and Click Dimensions to understand the consumers need for Globe’s legal platform services. Globe showed me how to combine my skills in marketing and interest in law, to successfully market to a legal consumer base. In addition, I helped to create a direct mail campaign for Lexology, wrote press releases, and compiled a detailed list of email data. During the Brexit 'No Deal' discussion, I created banners for the Lexology website.
