Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation issues to minimize downtime.
Optimize control strategies to enhance plant efficiency and performance.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase automation system reliability and responsiveness.
Collaborate with process engineers to fine-tune control loops and algorithms.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all automation and instrumentation activities.
Participate in Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies and implement safety measures.
Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to instrumentation and automation.
Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans for automation and instrumentation systems.
Respond to and resolve automation-related issues promptly.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of automation configurations, instrumentation calibrations, and system modifications.
Prepare reports on system performance, reliability, and any recommended improvements.
