I am passionate about 'consciously aging'; treating others the way they want to be treated; everyone's right to self-determination; and the fact that being 65 does not suddenly make people all the same – just people who are older. I want to work with hospice, bereavement, and home and community-based services to support aging in community. I am an elder-in-training!
Support and empower older adults and their families in this dynamic North Seattle senior center. Conduct individual and group conversations. Assist with clarification and navigation of community and government resources.
Create and facilitate health and wellness workshops.
Completed a program evaluation of the senior lunch program including sustainable recommendations. Currently assisting with the implementation of changes and improvements.
