Between 1973 and 1975, Dr. Mike Sagman served as captain in the United States Army Dental Corps Medical Department Activity (MEDDAC). In this position, he drew on his medical training at the Medical College of Virginia to provide soldiers and other military personnel with reconstructive and restorative dentistry.
During his time in the military, Dr. Mike Sagman was awarded the United States Army Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service to his country.
After leaving the military in 1975, Dr. Sagman established a private dental practice in Newport News, Virginia. He spent nearly four decades in this role, providing patients with an array of advanced dental services including conscious sedation.
As a dental practitioner, he continued to provide restorative and cosmetic services, while also performing prosthetic dental-reconstruction procedures. Since retiring from his dental practice in 2014, Dr. Sagman has functioned as president and chief executive officer of Clicks and Traffic, LLC, an online media company and publisher of the popular and respected website, DogFoodAdvisor.com.
