An accomplished Olympic weightlifter, Michael Nackoul has since combined this interest with a keen business acumen and an interest in engineering. He stands out as co-founder and project manager of Morpheus Labs, an athletic platform that uses wearable data to help trainers develop individualized recommendations. Michael Nackoul drove the product's growth from 2016 through early 2017, after which time he returned to school as a dual master's degree candidate at the University of Pittsburgh where he attends both the Katz Business School and the Swanson School of Engineering

Michael Nackoul received his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). While there, he made a name for himself as the recipient of the bronze medal in his weight class at the 2012 National Collegiate Weightlifting Championship, where he also ranked as top male in the University category. A junior national champion in 2011 and seventh place in the junior world championships in 2011, he further stands out as a two-time national champion.

Mr. Nackoul has gone on to compete with the 2013 world team and to train with Zygmunt Smalcerz at the US Olympic Training Center. Now recognized as an authority in training for the sport of Olympic weightlifting, Mr. Nackoul has published on such well-known sites as BarBend and Juggernaut Training Systems.

Also a passionate fly fisher, Michael Nackoul has traveled to such fishing destinations as British Columbia, Yellowstone National Park, and the Olympic peninsula. He favors steelhead and trout as his quarries of choice.
