A neurosurgeon at TexomaCare Neurosurgery in Denison, Texas, Dr. Michael Molleston has more than 30 years of practice experience. He began his career as a graduate of the Washington University School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, where he distinguished himself as the chief resident of neurosurgery. While working in this residency, Dr. Michael Molleston deepened his expertise in neuroimmunology as a fellow of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke.
Dr. Molleston went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at Texas Children's Hospital-Baylor College of Medicine. He then relocated to Florida to work at Memorial Regional Hospital and Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, where he continued to focus on the neurosurgical care of children and adolescents.
Since that time, Dr. Molleston has practiced at hospitals and clinics in Mississippi and Texas. He concentrates largely on brain tumor development and neuroimmunology as it relates to central nervous system trauma.
