A Sudbury, Massachusetts-based marketing and sales executive with more than 20 years of experience in the tech sector, Michael Koenig most recently served as regional vice president and North American sales leader of Gartner's high tech and telecom division. In this capacity, Sudbury resident Michael Koenig facilitated efforts to reach more than $400 million in annual revenue and achieved double-digit sales growth during nine out of his ten years in this position at the company. He also established the product launch pipeline for Gartner for Marketing Providers, which is now a $20 million business unit.
Prior to being promoted to regional vice president in 2007, Michael Koenig served one year as vice president of the company's sales associate channel and has previously held titles, such as regional sales manager, platinum group client director, and global account manager. Throughout his 20 years with the company, Mr. Koenig won eight Sales Leadership Awards and was a seven-time Winners Circle member.
Mr. Koenig holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Hobart College, where he was captain of the school's football team and a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity.
