Michael Smeriglio

The proprietor of his own financial services firm in the Greenwich neighborhood of Cos Cob, Connecticut, Michael J. Smeriglio was born and raised in the greater Greenwich area. He attended Catholic Middle School and St. Mary’s High School before matriculating at Pace University-Pleasantville in New York to obtain a bachelor of business administration in accounting. Since graduating, Michael J. Smeriglio has earned professional designations as a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. Smeriglio went into business for himself after serving tenures with the large financial services firms Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) and Pitney Bowes. Building on decades of experience, he provides comprehensive tax management and accounting services that range from general bookkeeping and financial statement preparation to payroll processing and managing employee benefit/profit-sharing plans. Other services offered by Michael J. Smeriglio include estate and trust planning, debt counseling, M&A and sales due diligence, cash flow and budgeting analysis, and representation before the Internal Revenue Service.
