Michael Erin graduated with a B.A. in Economics and Business from Virginia Military Institute in 2005, placing in the top 5 percent of his academic classes and the top 10 percent of 2nd Lieutenants/Ensigns nationwide. Currently, Michael Erin is the global initiatives manager for the Las Vegas Global Economics Alliance (LVGEA), an organization responsible for managing projects and developing the economic infrastructure of cities throughout southern Nevada.
As global initiatives manager, Mr. Erin has traveled extensively to network with regional, national, and international clients and to attract investments in the region. Recently, he has toured throughout the Far East in Hong Kong, Taipei, Shanghai, Beijing, Seoul, Singapore, and other areas to build business contacts and strategically develop new industries.
In addition to traveling, Michael Erin enjoys Asian studies, cultural events, and classical music. He also enjoys golf and baseball and is a Chicago Cubs fan. He served 11 years in the U.S. Army, achieving the rank of Captain before retiring.
