Drawing upon more than two decades of law enforcement experience in varying capacities, Michael Coppola is the founder and president of CJIS Solutions, through which he helps agencies meet their technical demands via cloud storage, antivirus products, and disaster recovery services. In his prior role as chief of police with the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Department, Michael Coppola managed all staff and assets as well as financial functions. He also created an improved agency training program, a unified rappelling response system, and revitalized the department's chain of command. Concurrently, he served as a member of the New Jersey Department of Transportation Traffic Incident Management Steering Committee.
Mr. Coppola spent 17 years with the New Jersey-based police department, prior to which he worked as a ranger with the New Jersey State Park Police. He also has six years of experience as a police dispatcher, for which he earned exceptional service and unit citation honors. His law enforcement career is preceded by more than a decade of experience as a volunteer firefighter and EMT.
