Serving as CEO of the Belfonti Companies in Hamden, CT, Michael Belfonti focuses on real estate transactions that create value across the United States and internationally. His family of companies includes an investment company and a real estate development firm, as well as a property management enterprise. Michael Belfonti also leads several real estate holding companies that own a portfolio of properties.
Mr. Belfonti has managed and owned real property assets valued at more than $2 billion. His company presently has a portfolio extending to diverse industrial and commercial holdings, as well as 3,000 apartment units. A variety of potential development sites are presently going through the entitlement process, while other projects are under construction.
Giving back to the community is a core commitment of Mr. Belfonti, and he has set in place a pair of endowment funds at private high schools in West Haven, CT, and Hamden, CT. Michael Belfonti has also served as a board member and development committee chairman of the college preparatory school Cheshire Academy in Cheshire, Connecticut.
