Key Accomplishments • Became one of the most experienced and trusted members of the trade capture team in a short period of time considering limited financial background showing ability to learn quickly. Regarded as a subject matter expert for the input of trades into the Summit, InvestOne, Calypso and HiPortfolio systems. This led to being given the opportunity to move to London to build a new middle office team from scratch. • Selected to spend 2 months in Mumbai training the trade capture team on processes and systems following the creation of a new department hub in India. • Was given the responsibility of testing all new systems resulting in the successful deployment of the department’s first fully automated trade booking system which will eventually be the model for the processing of all client’s trades. During the project performed both UAT and JUAT and had a lot of interaction with the client.
Responsible for the accurate input of OTC derivative products into the Summit, InvestOne and Calypso valuation and accounting systems for a variety of clients in a fast paced and pressurised environment.
Work as part of a team across 3 international hubs to ensure that over 60 daily client deadlines are met on time.
Increase efficiency within the team and maintain accuracy levels by continually looking to improve procedures and communicate them effectively to the team.
Assist the projects team with the on boarding of new clients and products to the department.
Training of new and existing members of staff including those in the New York and Mumbai hubs of the trade capture team processes.
Communicate effectively with all other teams within the department solving issues and queries to ensure deliveries are met on time.
