Key Accomplishments • Became one of the most experienced and trusted members of the trade capture team in a short period of time considering limited financial background showing ability to learn quickly. Regarded as a subject matter expert for the input of trades into the Summit, InvestOne, Calypso and HiPortfolio systems. This led to being given the opportunity to move to London to build a new middle office team from scratch. • Selected to spend 2 months in Mumbai training the trade capture team on processes and systems following the creation of a new department hub in India. • Was given the responsibility of testing all new systems resulting in the successful deployment of the department’s first fully automated trade booking system which will eventually be the model for the processing of all client’s trades. During the project performed both UAT and JUAT and had a lot of interaction with the client.
Primary UAT tester of new systems and system enhancements to ensure their smooth and effective integration into the production environment.
Write and review test scripts for each project based on the business requirements of the department.
Communicate effectively with business analysts, project managers and technology developers throughout the process of each project raising defects and reporting progress and any issues.
Tested major projects which included the introduction of 2 new STP systems to the trade capture process which has increased the STP rate from 3% to 80% across all clients.
