Board-certified by both the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons and the American Academy of Family Physicians, Dr. Matthew Bogard serves as a staff physician at various rural hospitals in Iowa and Nebraska. Currently practicing emergency medicine exclusively, Dr. Matthew Bogard has worked with Phoenix-based AB Staffing, Inc., Emergency Practice Associates in Waterloo, Iowa, DocsWhoCare/DocsEM in Olathe, KS and several other staffing organizations.
Dr. Bogard attended Creighton University where he earned a bachelor of science in health administration and policy. After completing his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, he participated in a four-year rural training program at the same university, serving as chief resident physician in the Department of Family Medicine. He holds numerous professional certifications, including Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Newborn Resuscitation Protocol, and Advanced Trauma Life Support.
An FAA-licensed private pilot, Dr Matthew Bogard owns a Piper Comanche 250 and is a member of the Flying Physicians Association. His other hobbies include boating and water sports.
