He holds numerous professional certifications, including Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Newborn Resuscitation Protocol, and Advanced Trauma Life Support.

An FAA-licensed private pilot, Dr Matthew Bogard owns a Piper Comanche 250 and is a member of the Flying Physicians Association. His other hobbies include boating and water sports.
