Mary Reece Baltimore, MD

Mary Reece applies more than two decades of experience in compliance, auditing and operations on behalf of Citigroup in Baltimore, MD, where she works as Director of regulatory control matrix and regulatory change management with the Citi Independent Compliance Risk Management team. As such, she implements strategies for compliance risk management with the objective of continuously improving oversight of regulatory change management processes, including establishment of controls and processes to assess effectiveness of regulatory controls in place. To carry out her responsibilities at Citi in Baltimore, MD, Mary Reece oversees staff members and collaborates with technology and other functional stakeholders. 


In the lead-up to her current position, Mary Reece gained hands-on compliance experience as senior compliance and fair lending officer at CitiFinancial Compliance. In this role, she directed a team of compliance professionals to partner with Legal and business stakeholders to implement new regulations and to drive compliance with existing consumer regulations such as the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act. Earlier, she served the company's Retail Services division as a compliance officer and operations manager.
