For more than two decades, Martin “Marty” G. Carrascosa of Pearland, Texas, has been working in various sales, procurement, and executive positions at different companies. A graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, the Texas resident completed specialized courses in economics, Spanish, and communications. Martin G. After graduating, his first position was at Toolex, Inc, an oil and gas company. For a couple years, he worked in management and inside sales for the company before joining Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation as a procurement professional. Mr. Carrascosa subsequently accepted the role of field operations supervisor at Henkels and McCoy before returning to Toolex and eventually earning the role of vice president. He spent more than eight years as a vice president of Toolex and was responsible for managing around 60 government and public customers and distributors, along with 60-80 internal personnel. Beyond that, he optimized the company’s purchasing department, developed a patent pending Trepan Head, drove substantial sales growth, customer retention concentration and cut employee-related costs all while having overall P&L accountability. Additionally, he garnered a strategic relationship with a CNC manufacturer during the downturn to gain free press coverage while boosting profitability by turning to 5 axis machining. Toolex became only the second company in Houston at that time to own such a large diameter oilfield lathe which in turn opened new doors to this day for the company

From his position of vice president at Toolex, Marty G. Carrascosa joined Dyson's central zone sales team. This job tasks him with managing the sales, training, and motivation of staff at several stores in the central zone of the U.S. Thanks to his involvement, he was number one and number two in sales for the central zone during the first quarter of 2018 and fourth quarter of 2017, respectively.
