His work included billion-dollar transactions, public filings, carve-outs, and global audit oversight, consistently delivering results that passed inspection with zero comments—highlighting his technical excellence and leadership.

In 2018, Marko became a Partner at GreenGrowth CPAs, the leading CPA firm for the legalized cannabis industry. At GreenGrowth, he built and now leads a 20+ person audit team across multiple countries, developed cannabis-specific accounting models, and created educational content that has reached hundreds of thousands of viewers. His work has helped position the firm as a go-to resource for cannabis operators navigating regulatory complexity, M&A activity, and capital markets.

Marko is also the founder of SetApart Accountancy Corp, a boutique firm supporting early-stage companies and startup founders with audit, review, and capital raise compliance services.
