As a Service manager the responsibility is from Service Design to Service Decommisioning be reliable for the service and being the SPOC for the user community. Service managers are responsible for ensuring that an organization's quality of service meets its described customers' requirements. Service and contract managers work closely with other organization members, such CPO's, Service Owners and senior managers, to set up develop and implement services and it's service-level agreements. Developing and reviewing the services with critical stakeholders, with the needed descriptions and ordering information. Identifying and creating with the management and the various technical teams new services and to build and run nut also by determining the metrics by which the service will be measured. Service Management is a team related activity , setting up services includes corporation between teams both from supplier as from receiver site to have a common understanding of what is needed or provided.
Contract management includes tracking and monitoring delivery and costs, managing risks and relationships with Vendos and 3rd Party suppliers, conducting reviews and resolving problems. Contract manager responsibilities Reviewing customer contract terms and conditions to balance risk appetite with commercial objectives. Working on the preparation, submission and review of tenders RFI/RFP's and drafting and reviewing the terms for standard forms like SLO's OLA's NDAs, EULA's partnership agreements, etc.
