Mark LaBere joined North Dakota’s Discovery Builders, LLC, in 2016 and continues to drive operations at the architectural and building firm in the position of vice president of finance. Prior to taking on his role at Discovery Builders, Mark LaBere spent six years with Rocky Mountain Innosphere in Fort Collins, Colorado, as an advisor to students enrolled in the RMI entrepreneurial program at Colorado State University. Between 2012 and 2016, he oversaw all regional finance operations and analytics at Adolfson and Peterson Construction, the Denver-based division of a $1 billion company. His responsibilities as leader of the $350 million construction division ranged from hiring and managing the accounting team and project executives to oversight of all budgetary planning and reporting.
Mr. LaBere studied accounting and finance at the University of Mary. During his time at the school, he served as a mentor to undergraduate students studying in the university’s business school. He completed an executive MBA program there in 2003.
