An established presence in the Beaver, Utah, community, Mark J. Yardley has more than three decades of experience leading gas stations, travel plazas, tire stores, and lodging facilities. In 1987, Mr. Yardley purchased High Country Chevron and remodeled it into a building that spans more than 8,000 square feet and offers on-site tire center and dining options.

He subsequently launched Eagle’s Landing Travel Plaza in Beaver and developed the property to include auto, RV, and semi-truck gas pumps, as well as Wendy’s and Cinnabon franchises and a Valerie’s Taco shop. A decade ago, he constructed a Days Inn motel across from the Travel Plaza that he operates to this day.

Mr. Yardley’s entrepreneurial success has been complemented by a strong philanthropic focus that has included support for veterans’ programs and the Beaver County Children’s Justice Center. With leadership experience coaching champion high school golf teams, he has also contributed to the Dixie State Athletics Golf Program and hosted a number of fundraising golf tournaments.
