Semester Study Abroad - Autumn 2017
An unforgettable experience was spent at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, Norway during the Autumn 2017 semester.
Classes followed were: 3D Visualization of Petroleum Data, Algorithms for Bioinformatics, Low-level Programming and Parallel Programming. Knowledge of the C programming language was heavily acquired as all classes coded in C with the exception of Algorithms for Bioinformatics where C++ was used for the semester's project.
Took part of the Oceanography Summer School at Université du Québec à Rimouski.
• Assisted diverse workshops on oceanography, computer simulations of oceans, paleoclimatology, electronic microscope technique, and determination of dissolved oxygen
• Observed marine microorganisms under a microscope
• Sediment and salt-water sampling in the Baie de Rimouski
