Macmichael Nwaiwu

An accomplished natural resources procurement engineer Macmichael Nwaiwu holds both a bachelor of science in petroleum and natural gas engineering from the Federal University of Technology Owerri in Nigeria and a master of science in petroleum engineering from the University of Houston in Texas. Over the course of his career, he has overseen drilling operations with both Addax Petroleum and Halliburton. Currently living and working in Houston, Macmichael Nwaiwu serves as a senior national gas engineer and project manager with DTE Energy. He concurrently spearheads a range of engineering and environmental solutions services across Nigeria as the executive chairman of Global Dynamic Integrity Solutions, Ltd.

Macmichael Nwaiwu holds active membership in multiple professional organizations, including the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the Project Management Institute, the American Gas Association, the American Association of Drilling Engineers, and the Nigerian Institute of Safety Professionals. In his free time, Mr. Nwaiwu is an avid world traveler who enjoys attending sporting events and collecting antiques.
