Fort Myers United States (Florida)
Employed Available
Lucas Seiler knew he wanted to be a journalist from a young age, starting work for a local paper at only 16 years old. He later went on to enroll in the broadcast journalism program at Columbia College Chicago. As a student, Mr. Seiler gained anchoring and reporting experience with Frequency Television and completed internships with PBS WTTW, Fox Chicago News, and CBS Chicago Investigations. With the latter, Lucas Seiler contributed to several major investigations that resulted in exposing corporate and government fraud.

In 2011, leveraging his education and internship experience, Lucas Seiler took on a job with the Intermountain West Communications Company in Wyoming, where he worked as an anchor, reporter, and producer. He stayed with the NBC affiliate for two years before moving on to NBC-2 News in Fort Myers, Florida. There, in addition to uncovering major instances of corruption within the state prison system, Mr. Seiler also anchored morning newscasts and managed activity on the network’s social media platforms. Several of his stories have been featured on national networks such as CNN, NBC News, and MSNBC.
