  • 『Now』
I have been working as an SW associate manager in charge of Android SW and Produce Line Test at Antec of HON HAI Technology Group for one years. Here is a brief of my major roles and responsibilities:
    1. Smart-link Solution Integrate: MirrorLink, Miracast, CarPlay
    2. Android UI developer
    3. IoV solution Developer
      4.Vendor Coordination
      5.Product Line Test Team Managment
  • 『Introduction』
The multi-functional role of my job brought a great variety and challenges. Impossible missions were accomplished in every challenging day. I programmed in the 1st year, took leadership since the 2nd year, learnt about communication in the 3rd year, worked on integration in the 4th year, and managed projects since the 5th year. This journey made me experienced and confident.
  • 『Android Programming』
My first programming task was a verification tool for tablets. There were no seniors experienced in android, hence I studied by myself to get the program done. After that, my boss asked me to lead a testing team on an OEM project. As a president of student association in university in the past, I have been experienced in leading since then, which did help me at the beginning. My teammates were also good team players. We stayed up late for tasks , debugging, process recompiling, and brainstorming as one team every day. Those days mean a lot to me.
  • 『Project Leading』
We got good responses via the first project, which helped us winning the following one. The customer added many new ideas coming from marketing feedback on the second project. We kept working hard to satisfy the customer’s demands even having been successful on the previous project. Although the customer was famous for being critical in the industrial, it was satisfied with our solution, whereas problems were all resolved before shipping. There was once a quality issue then. From quality perspectives, finding the root cause was absolutely a must. Spending much time, we eventually found the root cause and proved it a consigned part quality issue. As a result, we claimed the need of suspending the production line immediately, whereas the customer asked us to lower the threshold in order to waive this issue at the end, which was an impressing experience.
  • 『Creative R&D』
Unfortunately, demands of tablet didn't cut the mustard. Soon, it became a price war. The business was fundamentally impacted. We turned to investigate feasibility of implementing new applications like smart home. This was also my first step toward system integration. We tried to co-operate with other departments and utilized android-based set-up boxes as the control kernel (like "Nest" who was acquired by Google) to create products ranging from screen sharing, security monitoring, storage cloud, remote control to community network.
  • 『Revolution』
While Smart Home was going well, we got ODM projects from local enterprise customers. Therefore the Smart home project was suspended based on company strategy, which was a great pity. Besides the new ODM projects, the company modified its direction that time. I was assigned to study educational projects and transferred to a new division for B2B business, which fundamentally changed my field of work. I started to focus on B2B projects and product integration. Working with the new team, we made high profit by integrating and selling systems.
  • 『System Integration』
To set up and demonstrate to the government and the affiliated companies, I started to be on the go. We had got to keep finding valuable products and bidding for government projects. We spent much time try and error. Nevertheless, everything paid be worthy eventually. We won business within one year. Our project was in full swing, and we got more attention with encouragement. I also got an opportunity to be promoted during then. Different fields broadened my horizon and took me to work with other outstanding enterprises, which I learnt innovative thinking from. This process brought me a better vision and confident mind-set.
  • 『Team Building』
We started to grow team because of increment of business and strategic needs. The team handles the overall process of tender, ranging from product research, vendor engagement, specification definition, sale training, technical support, logistics, construction management, training service to after-sales service. There are 30 members working on technical service lead by me. At the end of 2014, I was nominated and awarded as the "Excellent Manager Award" at the company to recognize my performance as this role.
  • 『Education Business』
For educational B2B projects and after-sales service leader. Here is a brief of my major roles and responsibilities:
    1.Customer engagement
    2.B2B projects management
    3.Vendor coordination
    4.Product integration
    5.Solution/Specification definition
    6.Product promotion planning at exhibitions
    7.Customer service team management
    8.Marketing feedback analysis
  • 『Automobile Electronics』
After education business, IoV is a new strategy of company. For experience of Android and Product line, I transfer to integrate Automobile solution, and in charge of Smart-Link solution. we made an android HW platform and integrate a lot of sensor and solution, like BT, VR, Navi, ADAS (6 Camera), include my function MirrorLink, Miracast and most popular solution - Carplay, for shipping this platform, we already shipping to local enterprise, it is first step of IoV, we are trying to develop more excited IoV application now.
  • 『Future』
I crave to take more responsibility and more challenges in the future to get greater variety of experiences. The long-term expectation to my career is to be a professional manager, who accomplishes company portfolio with his specialty.
