My whole career has been set towards internationality and learning from other cultures. I have studied in three different educational systems and my ability to speak four languages has been an asset in developing a strong sense of adapting to change.
I am eager to accept new challenges that both demand an outstanding analytical performance and great interpersonal skills. Doing my MSc in Finance + CEMS is enabling me to gain valuable analytical skills and enhance my knowledge in Finance, strengthen my ability to solve unexpected problems and improve my own efficiency through working in multiple tasks.
It is important for me to never ceasing to learn and be open-minded. That is why I recently volunteered in Ghana (with HOLA Ghana NGO - Summer 2016) where I helped in different social projects.
Prepared and reviewed seven different entities Financial Statutory Accounts.
Improved processes and efficiencies within the team (eg. Reviewed segregation of duties for payment systems and ensured that the Group requirement of the Month Control Pack was SOX compliant.
Prepared and reviewed journals and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
Financial Planning and Analysis
Set up budget packs for multiple cost centres.
Cost analysis of cost centre operational spends each month highlighting any issues or discrepancies.
Commercial Finance
Prepared management reporting for multiple areas of the business. Specifically for the two largest categories (Generics and Parallel Imports). This involved volume, revenue and GP analysis.
Improved the old reporting of the group by redesigning the structure of multiple files to be formula driven. Creating efficiencies for the team.
Double degree. First year (2016-2017) MSc in Finance: choose the track to focus on Corporate Finance Management. Second year (2017-2018): CEMS Program - Master in International Management. Six months in Spain and six months in Japan.
January 2017: “Knowing Cuba from the business perspective”. Study tour program abroad in La Havana University (Cuba)
Exchange program of 6 months. I did four elective courses focused on improving my knowledge and skills: "How to persuade", "Market Research", "Business project", "Leading a new world, new trends".
Summer 2016 (from 16/07 until 13/08): Volunteer in Koforidua, Ghana with HOLA Ghana NGO. Helped and collaborated in the different ongoing cooperation projects at the primary school
July 2014: Volunteered at Water of Leith Conservation Trust in Edinburgh.
2010-2012: Organized of events for children at Solid’Art (Non profit Organization).
