April 2013-April 2015: Worked as a member of the hotels banqueting staff serving weddings and large functions
Serving large groups I learned to take large orders and to clear large amounts at once. It also taught me to work efficiently as part of a team under time constraints to coordinate together to ensure smooth flow of service.
April 2015-Present: Waitress at the Lighthouse Bar and Bistro of the hotel serving bar food and occasionally behind the bar serving drink.
Learned a lot about ensuring customer satisfaction and division of attention by striving to maintain quality service during busy times
Once a week responsible for unlocking and opening up of the bistro
Enhanced communication skills from dealing with complaints from dissatisfied customers
