An accomplished health care executive, Liz Youngblood brings three decades of experience to her administrative role with the Texas Division of Catholic Health Initiatives. In her leadership position with the institution, Liz Youngblood serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the 16 hospital system including multiple ambulatory locations.

Liz Youngblood has served in multiple leadership roles including CEO of the University of Mississippi Medical Center's adult hospitals and clinics and spent more than a decade as an administrator with Baylor Health Care System (now Baylor Scott and White Health) in Dallas, Texas. Among other positions with the system, she served as vice president of operations and administration for the Baylor University Medical Center and the president of Baylor Specialty Hospital. Previously, she gained leadership experience with Texas-based health care organizations such as Richardson Regional Medical Center and the Medical Center of Arlington.

Liz Youngblood earned a bachelor’s degree from West Texas A&M University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. A fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executive, she holds a nursing diploma from the Ona M. Wilcox School of Nursing in Connecticut.
